Our client is looking to recruit a Nursery Practitioner to join their team as soon as possible, on a full-time, permanent basis. Level 2 in Childcare or above is strongly desirable, however they are also happy to consider unqualified candidates. Some previous experience is essential to be considered for this role.

Our client is offering up to a £1,500 joining bonus after your probation period! Exact amount is dependant on qualifications however the minimum amount is £500.

The nursery takes on children from 3 months - 5 years and the setting itself is ideally located close to local transport links. The nursery has a large enclosed outdoor area where staff take the children during the day. Staff also take the children on walks to the local park.

They are open Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 6:00pm. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Nursery Manager.

Your responsibilities as a Nursery Practitioner will include:

• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care
• To work as an effective part of the nursery team and maintain good morale
• To be aware of nursery policies and procedures
• Settle new starters
• Ensure parents receive daily updates
• Ensure developmental records for each child are kept up to date and accurate
• To maintain a good level of communication to senior management
• Ensure you are aware of risk assessments that are carried out
• Ensure the rooms are left clean and tidy

Requirements of this Nursery Practitioner Role:

• Previous Childcare experience
• A passion and eagerness for a career in Childcare
• Willing to develop and grow your existing knowledge
