We are proud to be working on behalf of our client who is currently recruiting for a Nursery Practitioner with a minimum of Level 2 in Early Years.

The successful candidate will be joining a well-established and well-known nursery with a friendly, experienced and supportive staff team. This role is open for both full-time and part-time, however full-time is preferable by our client.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Plan, prepare and participate in a range of activities in line with the EYFS
• Assist with the implementation of activities
• Be a key worker for a group of children
• To work in partnership with parents and carers
• Assist in ensuring the nursery provides a safe, happy and stimulating environment
• Assist children in acquiring self-help skills
• Help ensure that the Nursery meets safety and hygiene requirements
• Report any issues to a senior member of staff
• To observe, plan and evaluate appropriately for children's development
• To be aware of and comply with all policies and procedures (Safeguarding, Child Protection Policy, Confidentiality Procedures and Equal Opportunities etc)
• Maintain accurate and effective children's records
• Work additional hours to maintain ratios as and when be required
• Ensure that the nutritional needs of the children are met
• Undertake a shared responsibility for health, safety and cleanliness throughout the nursery
• To undertake any other duties and responsibilities of an equivalent nature from time to time

Requirements of this Role:

• Minimum of Level 2 in Childcare
• Minimum of 6 months previous Childcare experience
