Test Automation Engineer
Job Description:
To support the growth of digital services, we are looking to recruit a Test Automation Engineer to join the Quality Assurance team to test existing and new features on a single delivery team. The Test Automation Engineer will be part of a team comprising of Product Owners, Analysts, Developers and business SMEs, helping deliver external and internal platforms to support the business and its customers.
Our client's primary technology stack is Java-based utilising Selenium, Cucumber and Jenkins as the basis of the test automation framework.
The Test Automation Engineer will also work on several existing projects including a mobile App using React Native / React JS.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Plan & and execute manual functional, non-functional, and regression testing to satisfy the business and technical requirements of epics, features and user stories.
- Contribute to the implementation of appropriate automated testing tools for systems' internal and third-party systems.
- Develop and maintain automated testing scripts as required to satisfy business and technical requirements.
- Recording and reporting of test results, generating issue reports and feeding back bugs via agreed and appropriate mechanisms.
- Support the creation and maintenance of test planning documentation to provide clarity & and confidence.
What we need from you:
- Good knowledge of automated testing tools
- A good grounding in Information Technology, with awareness and some exposure to Java or C#
- Manual system testing experience
- Attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical and methodical thinking
- Motivated and enthusiastic
- Uses own initiative

- Base salary of £40,000 to £44,000 per annum
