Location

This is a role that ideally requires the individual to be in Cardiff, South Wales periodically. However, for the right applicant, we may consider a 100% fully remote home working arrangement. The candidate must be able to travel across the UK on a frequent basis.

Responsibilities

• Work with the TDA to deliver Azure-hosted infrastructure.
• Lead on on-premise infrastructure projects.
• Lead on cloud transformation projects from start to completion.
• Be the senior in the team and be the key point of contact for technical escalation.

Essential experience can be broken down into 3 categories (as below):-

• Microsoft Azure Services (IAAS, networking, storage)
• Private Cloud Infrastructure (SAN, HCI and DAS solutions)
• Software Support (VMware, App integrations, Exchange Online, Mailflow)

This is a hands-on role where we need technical skills in Microsoft Azure deployments.

Company Information

Initially, the Lead Cloud and Infrastructure Consultant could be working on on-premise infrastructure projects for smaller customers combined with the large majority being Microsoft Azure cloud transformation projects.

Other

The Lead Cloud and Infrastructure Consultant will be required to attend UK customer sites periodically and there is also a requirement to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
