Position Overview:
The Shopify Operations Manager will own the daily operations of the companys Shopify storefront and wholesale platform. This role is perfect for someone with sharp attention to detail and a hands-on mindset who thrives in fast-paced eCommerce environments. You'll work closely with growth, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure everything runs smoothly and continuously improves.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily Shopify operations: product uploads, pricing updates, merchandising, and promotions.
- Monitor site performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with developers/freelancers.
- Optimize site UX to drive conversions and increase AOV.
- Maintain SEO tagging, image assets, and accurate product catalog.
- Build and manage dashboards for ecommerce KPIs (traffic, AOV, LTV, retention).
- Support marketing and retention campaigns via tools like Klaviyo, Skio, and Okendo.
- Coordinate third-party platforms (DoorDash, GoPuff, Soberish, Airgoods, etc.).
- Handle wholesale portal updates and B2B order entry.
- Install/configure Shopify apps to support performance and functionality.
- Flag customer issues and collaborate with CS (via Gorgias) for resolution.
Qualifications:
- Based in Latin America (or overlapping EST timezone).
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Strong experience with Shopify and Google Analytics.
- Familiarity with eCommerce tools: Gorgias, Skio, Okendo, Klaviyo.
- Technically savvy; able to install and troubleshoot Shopify integrations.
- Comfortable working independently and making decisions without step-by-step guidance.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Data-driven and able to derive insights from reporting tools.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with Skio and Okendo is a plus, but not required, familiarity with similar tools (e.g., Recharge, Yotpo, Judge.me) is equally valuable.
- Experience managing third-party ecommerce integrations (e.g., DoorDash, GoPuff).
- Familiarity with wholesale/B2B ecommerce platforms.
- Prior exposure to cannabis, wellness, or fast-moving consumer goods sectors.
- Experience using Facebook Ads Manager (if campaign management becomes relevant).
