Our client is one of the largest manufacturers of industrial sewing machines and intelligent automation solutions for the apparel industry.

They are seeking a conscientious and hardworking Area Sales Manager with deep exposure to selling industrial sewing machines, or similar textile machinery. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and developing new business opportunities within your assigned territory.

Please note that extensive domestic travel is REQUIRED - covering both Western and Eastern Turkey. You may be away from home for several days, up to weeks at a time. For this reason, please do not apply if you are unwilling to do so.

Prior sales experience with industrial sewing machines and/or textile machinery is a MUST, without exception.

Professional working fluency in English is REQUIRED.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue and market share targets within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with manufacturers, distributors, dealers, and industrial customers in the sewing, textiles, apparel, and related industries.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for customers and distributors.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and sales agreements while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Collaborate with technical and after-sales service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for management review.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and exhibitions to promote products and services.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 5 - 10 years of sales experience, with solid exposure to industrial sewing machines and/or similar machinery (i.e. textile, garments, etc).
  • Strong knowledge of industrial machinery sales cycles, customer decision-making processes, and distributor/dealer management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand and explain technical features of machinery to customers.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently while managing multiple accounts.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory to meet clients and develop new business.
  • Professional working fluency in English, and native fluency in Turkish.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, engineering, or a related field preferred.
