Catering Operations Coordinator Responsibilities
Main Duties:
Planning and Organization
Receive and accurately document client requests.
Coordinate with different departments (kitchen warehouse transportation HR).
Prepare work schedules and assign tasks to the team.
Client Communication
Understand client requirements and provide suitable menu and service suggestions.
Follow up with clients before, during, and after the event to ensure satisfaction.
Handle any feedback or complaints promptly and professionally.
On-Site Execution
Supervise event setup (tables buffet décor equipment).
Ensure food quality and presentation meet company standards.
Monitor event flow and resolve any issues immediately.
Department Coordination
Coordinate with the kitchen to prepare the requested items on time.
Follow up with the logistics/transport team to ensure timely delivery of food and equipment.
Work with the maintenance team to confirm readiness of tools and devices.
Management and Reporting
Monitor staff attendance and performance.
Prepare post-event reports highlighting positives, challenges, and recommendations.
Assist in developing services and offers based on client feedback.
