Job Title: Remote Social Worker

Job Responsibilities


  • Assess clients' social, emotional, and financial needs and develop personalized care plans
  • Provide emotional and psychological support to individuals, families, and groups
  • Advocate on behalf of clients to access social services and community resources
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations to coordinate care
  • Offer crisis intervention services and support clients through difficult life events
  • Educate clients on available resources, rights, and services to enhance their well-being
  • Maintain accurate case records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations
  • Provide referrals to specialized services such as mental health counseling, housing assistance, and addiction recovery

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW) or related field (Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) preferred)

  • 1-3 years of experience in social work or a related field

  • Strong understanding of social work principles, ethics, and confidentiality standards

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Empathy and a genuine desire to help others overcome challenges

  • Ability to work with diverse populations and in complex, emotionally charged situations
  • Valid state licensure and certifications as required
