Job Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement effective public relations strategies to enhance the organization’s image and reputation
  • Draft press releases, media alerts, and other PR materials to communicate company news and announcements
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with media professionals, journalists, and influencers
  • Organize and manage press conferences, media interviews, and other PR events
  • Monitor media coverage and track industry trends to ensure the company stays relevant
  • Handle crisis communication and address negative media coverage with proactive solutions
  • Coordinate internal communications to ensure consistent messaging across departments
  • Assist with the creation and execution of marketing campaigns to complement PR efforts
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, community members, and industry leaders
  • Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of PR campaigns and adjust strategies as needed

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in public relations, media relations, or communications
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills

  • Experience in media outreach and managing relationships with journalists
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle sensitive situations

  • Proficient in media monitoring tools and social media platforms

  • Excellent problem-solving and crisis communication abilities

  • Knowledge of PR strategies and media industry trends
