Job Responsibilities
- Oversee all operational aspects of events, from initial planning to post-event evaluation
- Coordinate with vendors, staff, and stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution
- Manage event schedules and timelines to ensure timely and efficient operations
- Supervise on-site operations, including event setup, breakdown, and staff coordination
- Handle event budgets, track expenses, and ensure events stay within budget limits
Resolve operational challenges and unforeseen issues during events
- Ensure that all necessary permits, insurance, and safety measures are in place
- Develop and implement event operation procedures and policies to improve efficiency
Maintain event materials, equipment, and resources for future events
- Gather feedback post-event to improve processes and operations for future events
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field
- At least 4 years of experience in event operations or event coordination
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams and vendors
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency in event management software and project management tools
Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and quickly resolve challenges
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required
