My client is the global leader in the development and manufacture of precision connector and cable solutions. Their connectors can be found in a variety of demanding application environments, in medical technology, industrial control, testing and measurement technology, in racing, as well as in the video and telecommunications sectors. They are a global leader in the field of custom high-performance interconnection solutions.

Responsibilities

You will ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through your competent customer advice and your conscientious and efficient way of working, while at the same time making an important and valuable contribution to the successful growth of the company.

  • Providing technical customer advice on wide range of products and solutions
  • Clarification of customer requirements and feasibility
  • Technical and commercial clarifications
  • Preparation and follow-up of quotations, support for the external sales team
  • Maintaining product master data and creating parts lists in the ERP system
  • Processing quality reports; documentation and coordination of cases with the manufacturer's plant
  • Occasional customer visits in Switzerland, participation in trade fairs
  • Supporting the back office with order processing

Requirements:

  • Fluent in German and good English languages skills
  • Basic training in electrical engineering, electronics or mechatronics with further commercial training, preferably at HF level
  • IT-savvy, in particular confident with ERP systems and MS Office
  • Customer-orientation with strong communication skills
  • Networked thinking, ability to recognise priorities and organise yourself accordingly
  • Reliable, confident and friendly demeanour, team player and willingness to help
