About the job KSA Business Analyst-RCM

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills and sound business case development
  • Extensive knowledge of techniques for requirements engineering, process mapping and documentation for project deliverables preferably in a healthcare provider environment.
  • Familiarity with clinical workflows and health information management is a plus.
  • Good understanding and practical experience in Revenue Cycle Management processes and technologies is preferred to drive best practice through processes, tools and techniques.
  • Certification as a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar is highly desirable.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

General Responsibilities

  • Document all requirements and the business solution such that stakeholders, the development team and test team understand them clearly to go about their tasks.
  • Assess the impact of the solution on various stakeholders
  • Assess the feasibility of the recommended solution from a business perspective
  • Ensure that the solution development team understands the problem and the solution
  • Manage changes to business requirements and do an impact analysis.
  • Work with the test team during the test phase to ensure that solution is accurate and free of bugs and issues.
  • Work with the end users to help them understand the changes. Help the users to work with the new solution. Help the client in managing the solution such that there is minimum resistance to organizational changes due to the newly implemented solution.

Revenue Cycle Management Specific:

  • Support project teams through the design, build and implementation phases of Revenue Cycle project for client-side engagements.
  • Closely work with client revenue cycle teams to identify current and future transformation needs and opportunities.
  • Contributes to upgrades/enhancements, consulting resources and general operations as related to revenue cycle/billing information systems.
  • Review and report proposed improvements on ongoing productivity improvement, cost effectiveness, and total quality management of revenue cycle/billing processes and information systems.
