Job Purpose:
The IT BP supply chain specializes in analyzing, designing, and configuring enterprise software to meet business requirements ensuring that enterprise software implementation aligns with the company's processes and goals. They work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, translating these into enterprise software solutions. Their scope includes customizing enterprise software modules within supply chain area, testing for functionality, training key users, and providing ongoing support and optimization. Their expertise is not just technical but also involves a deep understanding of business processes, enabling them to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions involved for the enterprise software.
They also play a pivotal role in providing expert guidance and mentorship to Key Users within the organization, focusing on enterprise software knowledge and business processes serving as a mentor, coach, and partner to Key Users, ensuring they have a deep understanding of the enterprise software and how processes are configured.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Enterprise Software Configuration and Implementation
- Configure and implement enterprise software products to align with organizational requirements.
- Collaborate with clients to gain a deep understanding of their business needs and processes.
- Enterprise softwares Change Request Management
- Drive change requests related to system configurations and processes.
- Verify the impact of proposed changes on existing processes and system functionality.
- Solution Design and Customization
- Design, customize, and implement enterprise software solutions tailored to meet clients' specific needs.
- Write functional specifications for the development team to ensure accurate system enhancements.
- Functional Knowledge Stewardship
- Safeguard the functional knowledge of the enterprise software solution, encompassing both process and system aspects.
- Act as a data governor for master data and transactional data within the functional area
- Process Improvement for enterprise software
- Actively contribute to improvement initiatives for enterprise software, supply chain application leveraging a detailed understanding of existing processes and systems.
- Lead the development and implementation of solution roadmaps to ensure successful technology introductions throughout the organization and with external customers.
- SAP application support as part of business-as-usual activities
- Collaborate within IT BP team to deliver E2E business processes that will result in an improvement of business performance and process efficiency
- Manage applications roadmap within own areas to ensure that business capabilities are supported by right application and solution
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Information Technology).
- Proficiency in SAP and other relevant enterprise software systems and supply chain related non-SAP application
- Strong familiarity with business processes and functionality of relevant enterprise software.
- Strong analytical skills, including an understanding of business economics and financial resources.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Problem-solving aptitude with a "Can Do" attitude.
Experience:
- More than 15 years of experience in a role involving SAP implementation related to supply chain area (e.g. MM, IM, WM, eWM) or relevant enterprise software system as well as non-SAP application knowledge, related to supply chain
- Proven track record of successfully driving relevant enterprise software-related change requests and process improvements.
- Experience in community management and knowledge sharing is a plus.
