Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan, prioritize, assign, and supervise the work responsible for vehicle utilization & maintenance;

  • Complete accurate data entry for all daily work logs in the Fleet software tracking system;

  • Review electronic work orders ensuring they are closed in a timely manner for month-end billings;

  • Create and run monthly log reports to monitor the progress of various Fleet assignments;

  • Supervises the inventory management of various materials, tools, equipment, and supplies received and stored in the warehouses;

  • Supervises a team of Drivers to ensure they follow efficient routes and have the tools they need to complete their deliveries throughout the day;

  • Ensures that stock items are protected from dirt, damage, fire, theft, etc.

  • Conduct spot checks on vehicles to ensure that they are in good working condition.

  • Ensure routine servicing and maintenance of program vehicles are carried out on time and initiate requisition;

  • Follow up on payments for all expenses relating to vehicles including fuel expenses and servicing in a timely manner.

  • Monitor the location of vehicles using the GPS platform, creating reports on location, idle time, and speeding alerts;

  • Prepare fuel consumption and vehicle cost analysis report on a monthly basis and submit to the managers office;

  • Coordinates repairs and preventive maintenance scheduling that support vehicles availability;

  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of vehicle, insurance and required regulatory filings and reporting;

  • Provide monthly fuel usage and vehicle maintenance cost reports and schedule the maintenance and repairs of vehicles;

  • Investigate the root cause and close out efficiently all queries and share feedback with management;

  • Coordinates warehousing and concerned managers for timely replenishment requests;

  • Ensure excellent customer experience by solving order-level escalations;

  • Other tasks assigned by the immediate manager;


Academic qualification

  • BA Degree in Supply Management /Accounting/Management or related fields;

Additional qualifications

  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills

  • Focus and concentration to understand complex fleet management systems

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

  • Physically able to conduct field works

Years of experience: 5+ years and experience in logistics and fleet management or related fields.

Salary: As per the company scale

Work Place: Addis Ababa
