Job Summary: The Financial and Administrative position is responsible for providing leadership in the management of financial, operational, managerial, human resources, academic affairs, facilities, and other administrative operations for the Company.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize office meetings and events including arranging venues and coordinating participants and taking minutes of meetings as required.

  • Perform administrative duties and other general office activities including photocopying, faxing and mailing.

  • Handle all bank account reconciliation and make the necessary adjustment as required.

  • Follows up and controls the printing and distribution of financial vouchers/documents.

  • Schedules a variety of office activities, like utilities and facility payments, monthly tax settlement and making necessary arrangements for timely execution.

  • Prepare bank transfers and/or other bank payments and monitoring of bank accounts.

  • Contribute to the development of high-quality work plans, quarterly and annual reports, financial reports; and other reports as required.

  • Prepare different payments (check & bank transfer) and collect adequate documents during disbursement.

  • Manage and follow up the settlement of account payables/receivables and provide consolidated monthly reports.

  • Encode all payments, bank transfers and collections to accounting software, Peachtree.

  • Establish and maintain sound and transparent accounting and fiscal control procedures for financial, sub-contracts, small grants and operations aspects.

  • Manages cash requirements and transfers funds as per the agreed schedule.

  • Handle office inventory records and documents purchased and handed over materials.

  • Maintains proper filing for all payments and collections and keeps information confidential.

  • Other tasks assigned by your immediate supervisor.

Requirements

Academic qualification

  • BA in Accounting, Business Management, Finance, or a related field.

  • Master’s degree is preferred.


Additional qualifications

  • Ability to prioritize and organize tasks.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Peachtree accounting software.
  • Efficiency in English, both writing and speaking is essential.

  • Articulate, professional, and able to communicate in a clear and positive manner with clients and staff.

  • Self-motivated and result-oriented

Years of experience: Minimum of 5+ years of related work experience in the Manufacturing/Agriculture sector

Salary: As per the company scale
