Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage staff planning, recruitment, induction, development, appraisal, and performance management, and contract termination in line with HR policies and procedures.

  • Oversees and co-ordinates all HR administration tasks including benefits administration, payroll, staff data, recording, and induction.

  • Shortlist and screen applications as per the requirement set for the position including conducting background and reference checks.

  • Ensures that accurate and complete personnel records and filed correctly and kept confidential.

  • Prepare job offer letters, and employment contracts and ensure that all staff fill out the required forms for employment.

  • Work with supervisors in setting up individual orientation programs for newly hired staff.

  • Ensure staff insurance is up to date, including data on staff dependents and utilization of the medical scheme.

  • Ensure all staff have received specific job descriptions and attached a copy to their file.

  • Ensure proper staff leave management is in place and communicate for timely utilization.

  • Prepare an assessment report of an exit interview for management utilization.

  • Coordinates activities such as special events, meetings, travel, training, and staff gathering/retreat.

  • Handles personnel grievances and undertakes the necessary investigations, submits his/her recommendations to the respective supervisor/s.

  • Participate in the process of Payroll preparation, promotion, transfer, and related personnel measures.

  • Perform other duties assigned and delegated by the General Manager

Requirements

Academic qualification

  • BA/MBA in Management/Human Resources or related fields


Additional qualifications

  • Proficiency in English, both writing and speaking is essential

  • Excellent inter and Intra-personal communication skills resources

  • Self-motivated, result-oriented attitude and well-organized work ethic

  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making aptitude


Years of experience:

  • 3+ years proved work experience in the manufacturing or Import-Export sector
