Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and prepare pleadings, court documents, and correspondence
  • Manage litigation files using CourtOnline and Caselines
  • Assist attorneys with civil litigation procedures and court deadlines
  • Schedule hearings, trials, and client meetings
  • Handle filing and service of court documents
  • Maintain organized case files and document management systems
  • Provide administrative support to litigation attorneys

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of litigation secretarial experience
  • Proficient in CourtOnline and Caselines
  • Basic understanding of civil litigation procedures
  • Able to draft pleadings and legal correspondence
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Fluent in English (Afrikaans proficiency beneficial)
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
