Job Title: Solutions Architect
Location: South Africa / Hybrid / Remote
Salary: R100,000 – R180,000 per month

Job Overview

We are working with several enterprise technology organisations that are seeking experienced Solutions Architects to design and implement scalable, high-performance software and cloud solutions.

The Solutions Architect is responsible for defining system architecture, guiding engineering teams, and ensuring that technical solutions align with business objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of software development, cloud platforms, and enterprise architecture frameworks.

Successful candidates will work closely with engineering teams, product managers, and senior stakeholders to design robust technology solutions that support business growth, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end technology solutions and system architectures

• Define architecture frameworks, standards, and best practices

• Work closely with development teams to guide technical implementation

• Evaluate new technologies and recommend architecture solutions

• Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and maintainable

• Support technical decision-making across development teams

• Provide leadership and guidance to engineering teams

Requirements

• 8+ years experience in software engineering or architecture roles

• Experience designing enterprise software architectures

• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems

• Strong integration architecture experience

• Excellent technical leadership and communication skills
