Internal Sales Consultant – Bloemfontein (Hamilton Industrial Area)

SASSO Consulting is currently recruiting for an Internal Sales Consultant on behalf of a well-established client within the steel industry.

We are looking for a driven, customer-focused individual with strong sales experience and industry knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming calls and convert enquiries into sales
• Prepare and follow up on quotations (email & phone)
• Process sales orders on Syspro
• Source stock from approved suppliers
• Manage back orders and ensure timely delivery
• Liaise with warehouse and external sales team
• Assist with customer queries and complaints
• Maintain accurate records of sales enquiries and orders
• Support external sales with leads and occasional client visits

Minimum Requirements:

• 3–5 years' experience in a sales role (steel industry preferred)
• Strong product knowledge within the steel/related industry
• Syspro experience (advantageous)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must be based in or near Bloemfontein (no relocation candidates)

Additional Information:

• Working hours: Monday–Friday (07:30–17:00) + rotational Saturdays/Public Holidays
• Includes participation in stock takes
