Restaurant Manager / Assistant GM / GM

Johannesburg & Pretoria

Salary: R30,000 – R40,000 (depending on experience)

Overview:

Established restaurant group is looking for experienced Restaurant Managers, Assistant General Managers, and General Managers to join their teams across Johannesburg and Pretoria.

Key Requirements:

- Minimum 5+ years' experience in the restaurant industry (non-negotiable)

- Experience in mid to senior management roles (AGM / GM level)

- Strong operational and team management experience

- Stable track record (no job hoppers)

- 2–3 years minimum per role preferred

- Must have hands-on restaurant experience (no hotel-only backgrounds)

- South African ID or valid work permit

Key Responsibilities:

- Full restaurant operations management

- Staff management, training & performance

- Customer service excellence

- Stock control & cost management

- Driving sales and profitability

- Maintaining brand and service standards

- Strong leader with a hands-on approach

- Comfortable in a fast-paced restaurant environment
