Blockman – KZN (Margate & Shelly Beach)

We are urgently recruiting experienced Blockman for retail-based positions in Margate and Shelly Beach, KwaZulu-Natal.

Salary: Approximately R7,200 per month or R39.93 per hour (depending on hours worked).

The successful candidates must have solid, hands-on experience in a butchery or retail meat environment. Duties will include cutting, deboning, trimming, portioning and preparing various meat products according to company standards. You will be required to maintain high levels of hygiene, follow food safety regulations, and ensure correct stock handling and rotation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Blockman

• Strong knowledge of meat cuts and preparation techniques

• Ability to work retail hours, weekends and public holidays

• Good communication skills

• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Must not have been dismissed from previous employment due to misconduct

• Clear criminal record (criminal checks will be conducted)

• Contactable references

• Reside in or near Margate or Shelly Beach

• Available immediately or on short notice
