Job Title: Business Analyst (IT / Systems)
Location: Johannesburg / Hybrid
Salary: R50,000 – R95,000 per month

Job Overview

We are working with a number of organisations across fintech, enterprise software, and digital transformation environments who are seeking experienced IT Business Analysts to support technology initiatives and system implementation projects.

The IT Business Analyst plays a key role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. This position involves gathering requirements, analysing business processes, and translating business needs into clear functional specifications that development teams can use to build and implement solutions.

Successful candidates will have strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills, enabling them to work effectively with stakeholders across multiple departments. The role involves working closely with product owners, developers, and project managers to ensure that business requirements are clearly defined and delivered successfully.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document business and system requirements

• Analyse existing business processes and identify improvement opportunities

• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and requirement sessions

• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications

• Support software development and implementation projects

• Assist with user acceptance testing and system validation

• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver successful technology solutions

Requirements

• 4+ years experience as a Business Analyst in IT or systems environments

• Experience working on system implementations or digital projects

• Strong documentation and process modelling skills

• Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments

• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration tools
