About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Robotics AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy intelligent robotic systems powered by artificial intelligence. This role combines robotics, machine learning, and software engineering to create autonomous or semi-autonomous systems capable of perception, decision-making, and action in real-world environments.
You will work on cutting-edge solutions involving computer vision, motion planning, sensor integration, and real-time AI decision systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI-driven robotic systems and algorithms
- Build and deploy machine learning models for robotics applications (e.g., perception, navigation, manipulation)
- Integrate sensors such as LiDAR, cameras, IMUs, and GPS into robotic platforms
- Develop and maintain robotics software using frameworks like ROS/ROS2
- Implement real-time decision-making systems for autonomous operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, data science)
- Optimize system performance, reliability, and safety
- Conduct simulation testing and real-world validation of robotic systems
- Troubleshoot and improve robotic behaviors in dynamic environments
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years experience in robotics, AI, or machine learning
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++
- Experience with ROS / ROS2
- Solid understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision
- Experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or OpenCV
- Knowledge of robot kinematics, dynamics, and control systems
- Experience with simulation tools (e.g., Gazebo, Webots, Isaac Sim)
- Familiarity with real-time systems and embedded computing
Nice to Have
- Experience with autonomous vehicles, drones, or industrial robotics
- Reinforcement learning for robotics
- SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) experience
- Edge AI / deployment on embedded devices
- Experience with cloud robotics platforms
- Knowledge of safety and compliance standards in robotics
