Internal Sales Consultant – Kimberley

A well-established company in the Steel / Fluid Control industry is seeking a dynamic and experienced Internal Sales Consultant to join their Kimberley branch. This is a replacement position and an excellent opportunity for a driven individual with strong sales and product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls and convert enquiries into sales
  • Handle customer queries and complaints professionally
  • Capture and monitor sales enquiries and orders
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations (telephonically and via email)
  • Process sales orders on Syspro
  • Source stock from approved suppliers (standard and non-standard items)
  • Monitor back orders daily and release invoices for delivery
  • Expedite sales orders and coordinate deliveries
  • Update customer discount structures on Syspro
  • Liaise with warehouse and external sales representatives
  • Provide leads to external sales team
  • Assist with customer visits when required
  • Ensure adherence to credit procedures and minimize credits
  • Perform general administrative duties

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3–5 years' experience in a sales environment (preferably within Steel or Fluid Control industry – Pumps, Irrigation, Fittings, Valves, Pipes, Flanges)
  • Strong product knowledge within the relevant industry
  • Syspro experience will be advantageous
  • Must reside in or near Kimberley (no relocation candidates considered)

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 07:30 – 17:00
  • Saturdays & Public Holidays: 08:00 – 13:00 (roster-based)
