Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Intermediate Business Analyst (IT) to join our technology team. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, software developers, and QA teams to deliver IT solutions that align with business goals. This role requires a good understanding of both business processes and technical systems, with a focus on system integration, software development lifecycle, and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities:

Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business and system requirements for IT initiatives.

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs, pain points, and opportunities for technology-driven improvements.

Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for developers and solution architects.

Work within Agile or hybrid project environments, participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.

Assist in the design and review of technical solutions to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Support QA and UAT processes by reviewing test cases, validating test results, and assisting with issue resolution.

Create process flows, data models, and user stories/acceptance criteria.

Engage with IT teams to assess feasibility, scope changes, and manage impacts.

Support change management and user training efforts as needed during project delivery.
Requirements:
Education & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.

Business Analysis certification (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, ECBA, or equivalent) is an asset.
Experience:

2-5 years of business analysis experience in an IT or software development environment.

Experience with Agile (Scrum or SAFe), DevOps, or Waterfall methodologies.

Previous work on projects involving system integration, cloud platforms, or enterprise applications.
Technical Skills:

Proficient in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Trello, Azure DevOps, or similar.

Experience with data flow diagrams, ERDs, or UML modeling.

Working knowledge of databases, APIs, and system architecture (conceptual level no coding required).

Familiarity with software development lifecycles (SDLC) and testing cycles.

Comfortable discussing technical details with developers and translating them for business users.
