DTP Operator / Repro Artist (Mid–Senior Level)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mid–Senior DTP Operator / Repro Artist to join a fast-paced retail production environment. This role is ideal for a technically strong production specialist with extensive retail layout experience and a deep understanding of print repro workflows.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate, high-quality, repro-ready artwork while ensuring speed, consistency, and minimal production risk across high-volume retail campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce technically accurate and print-ready artwork in line with campaign briefs and deadlines
• Manage and roll out retail artwork across catalogues, POS, promotional, and advertising material
• Ensure seamless integration and management of jobs through RMS into Adobe InDesign
• Identify and resolve layout, retouching, quality control, or briefing issues proactively
• Follow internal workflow, sign-off, and production procedures accurately
• Prepare and package final artwork files for print and distribution
• Maintain organised backup records and archive approved artwork correctly
• Collaborate closely with studio, creative, and production teams to ensure smooth delivery

Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, DTP, or related field
• 4–6+ years' experience within a retail, print, or production environment
• Strong experience working on high-volume retail campaigns
• Excellent understanding of print production and repro processes
• Advanced proficiency in:
  • Adobe InDesign
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe After Effects advantageous
• Mac OSX literate
• Strong technical accuracy and quality control ability
