Position Overview
The Manager of Warehouse and Fulfillment Center will play a critical role in overseeing our warehouse operations and fulfillment processes. This individual will lead a team of 35-45 employees, focusing on improving operational efficiency, order accuracy, and optimizing processes across all distribution functions. Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Development: Lead, mentor, and support a team of warehouse staff, fostering continuous development and improving team performance.
  • Warehouse Operations: Oversee daily distribution operations, ensuring on-time deliveries and maintaining order accuracy.
  • Inventory Management: Manage warehouse inventory and implement advanced systems like Sage 100 for efficient operations.
  • Process Optimization: Optimize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, including replenishment triggers and system settings.
  • Customer Service: Maintain high customer service standards by ensuring 99% order accuracy and fulfilling same-day/next-day shipping commitments.
  • Delivery Operations: Oversee small parcel deliveries through carriers (UPS, FedEx) and internal fleet operations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks to improve overall efficiency and workflow.
  • KPI Development: Develop and track KPIs to monitor and improve team and operational performance.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Must-Haves:

  • Proven experience leading and mentoring large teams within a warehouse environment.
  • Hands-on approach to operations and problem-solving in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage operational budgets and achieve cost-efficiencies.
  • Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems (Sage 100 or similar is a plus) and experience optimizing them for better productivity.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or industrial engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Strong customer service mindset, ensuring the highest standards of order accuracy and timely delivery.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Certification or experience in lean manufacturing.
  • Background in fulfillment operations, particularly with both direct and client-specific shipments.
  • Familiarity with small parcel and fleet delivery processes.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $100,000 - $115,000/year

Location & Commute

  • Candidates should be located within no more than 40-45 minute commute from the warehouse to ensure efficient on-site leadership.
