About the job Research Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Team Management & Execution

  • Support the Associate Director of Research & S22M in managing the Research team
  • Oversee day-to-day execution of research and consultancy assignments, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
  • Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations and internal standards
  • Maintain professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality at all times

2. Services:

  • Lead the preparation and delivery of market reports, research publications and consultancy deliverables across all real estate sectors.
  • Possesses in-depth market knowledge across all real estate sectors, including residential, commercial, hospitality, and industrial park.
  • Develop and maintain economic, strategic and forecasting models to support property market analysis and advisory services.
  • Provide development recommendations and strategic insights for real estate projects.
  • Maintain and continuously improve research market intelligence systems.
  • Write and review reports in English or Vietnamese according to the scope of work agreed with clients.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of initiatives and projects.
  • Monitor performance, reporting and service improvements related to Power BI offerings.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance and expand data intelligence & Power BI services in line with client needs and market developments.

3. Client Management & Business Development

  • Manage relationships with local and international clients in relation to research consultancy assignments.
  • Identify new business opportunities and actively contribute to the growth of the Research and Consultancy service line.
  • Ensure high standards of client service and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Travel to other provinces or cities when required.

4. AI, Data & Research Innovation

  • Support the adoption of AI and data analytics tools to enhance research capabilities and efficiency
  • Work with internal teams to integrate AI-driven tools for data collection, market monitoring and automated reporting processes.
  • Encourage innovation within the Research team by exploring new technologies and digital solutions to improve research productivity and accuracy.

5. Collaboration & Market Intelligence

  • Maintain strong working relationships with Vietnamese authorities, market participants and industry networks.
  • Liaise with agencies and other departments to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the property market in Vietnam

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, negotiation and communication skills for liaising with colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to work with databases, spreadsheets and analytical tools for information collection and management.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in a similar leadership or position in real estate related companies.
  • Proficient English (both speaking and writing).
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking and report writing skills.
  • Good understanding of client service principles.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Good business awareness and knowledge of market trends and current affairs.
