We are looking for an experienced Azure Solutions Architect to join our growing team of data & technology consultants. The ideal candidate is a solutions builder, a roll-up-your-sleeves technologist who wants a daily collaborative environment, passionate about building systems at scale and sharing new ideas with your colleagues.

Are you attracted to capture, analyze and translate the business needs of our customers in the field of data solutions into concrete solutions? Do you succeed effortlessly in presenting solutions and architectures understandably and attractively to our prospects and customers?

You are well aware of the evolutions within the Azure product stack, as well as within frameworks such as the Cloud Adoption Framework. As a Solutions Architect at SBI you will be working as a consultant on projects where you will use your insights to ensure that our standards meet these evolutions, but are also aligned with the demands that we capture from the market. You form a bridge between infrastructure and applications.

You ensure that a robust data platform is delivered that is enterprise-ready, and on which developers can deploy code seamlessly and without worries. You support the (pre)sales team. As a Solution Architect you have a key role in quotation processes, and you can fully work out a business case.

You lead innovative workshops at customers to inform them about the evolutions in the data world. You perform assessments to advise customers about the different solutions. You translate the existing architecture into a concrete roadmap and long-term plan with a clear and proactive vision for the future. You manage your stakeholders well and you manage to collect as much information as possible so that you fully understand the needs of your customer.

Thanks to your persuasiveness and passion, you are able to let our customers make optimal use of the possibilities of the Azure Cloud Platform. You can enter into a conversation with both technical people and people from the business. You participate in an end-to-end team that covers all aspects of the cloud. You are close to the engineers and you give advice: from assessment, to implementation and management.

Who are you

• You endorse our five core values: customer focus, passion, entrepreneurship, team spirit and integrity

• +5 years of experience in the field of business intelligence, data driven solutions, AI, ... and you have a good knowledge of Microsoft Azure Data Services (Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, etc.)

• You have (or want) a Microsoft Certified Professional certificate.

• Thanks to your knowledge and experience, your empathy and persuasiveness, you can develop and propose future-proof solutions.

• You are able to capture, analyze and translate the business needs of customers (both at C-level and technical employees) into solutions.

• You can propose solutions in a simplified and visually appealing way

• You present in a pleasant way, are communicative strong and convincing

• You want to offer real added value to your customers, you work result-oriented, with attention to quality.

• You know what CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code means, and how this can fit in a cloud environment.

• You can explain advanced concepts in a simple way.

• Knowledge of AWS is a plus.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or relatable field from an accredited institution

• Ideally fluency in Dutch or French and English (verbal & written)
