Role Overview:
The Investor Relations Executive will play a key role in engaging and educating potential investors, managing relationships, and ensuring a smooth investor onboarding process. This role involves understanding investor goals, delivering tailored presentations, maintaining transparent communication, and driving investor engagement through strategic follow-ups. The primary responsibility is to convert investor interest into funded commitments on a consistent basis.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate has experience in consultative or solution-based sales, particularly in managing complex sales processes. They should have a track record of building relationships with decision-makers, guiding prospects through a structured sales process, and closing high-value deals. Strong communication, follow-up, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with a passion for helping investors understand and engage with unique investment opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Investor Engagement & Discovery
Build rapport with inbound leads and guide them through a structured discovery process to understand their investment experience, goals, and decision-making approach.
Tailored Presentations & Education
Deliver customized presentations that align the firms investment approach with investor objectives.
Effectively communicate the firms mission, strategy, track record, and business plan to prospective investors.
Collaboration & Process Management
Work closely with the Founder and internal teams to enhance credibility and investor engagement.
Provide feedback to optimize the investor education and onboarding process.
Investor Follow-Up & Communication
Utilize email, phone, and text to engage and nurture prospective investors throughout the process.
Ensure timely follow-ups using structured tools, templates, and engagement frameworks.
Tools & CRM Management
Use HubSpot CRM to track investor interactions, maintain accurate records, and provide transparency on pipeline progress.
Performance & Reporting
Report directly to leadership on investor engagement metrics.
Performance will be measured against KPIs that align with investor conversion success.
Discretionary bonuses available upon meeting and exceeding KPIs.
Qualifications:
Education:
Preferred but not required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Sales, or a related field.
Experience:
2+ years of experience in sales, particularly consultative or solution-based sales with six-figure deal sizes.
Skills & Competencies:
Highly driven, with strong self-motivation and curiosity.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Understanding of investment principles and financial markets.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience with HubSpot CRM is a plus.
Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and presentation tools (Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems).
