Our client, an international e-commerce company with a strong presence in the USA, Canada, and Europe, is seeking a highly detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Planning & Operations Analyst (Data Analyst) to manage inventory accuracy, operational workflows, and stock planning across multiple systems and partners. This role combines hands-on operational execution with process improvement. The position focuses on maintaining alignment across ERP systems, Amazon, 3PLs, and internal tools, while also supporting purchase planning and Amazon FBA replenishment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventory accuracy across ERP, Amazon, 3PLs, and warehouse-related workflows.
  • Manage and reconcile stock transfers, adjustments, removals, and inventory movements.
  • Perform recurring inventory reconciliations across internal inventory planning tools (including IRS / Inventory Resource Planner), Amazon systems, ERP, and warehouse data.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies between IRS (inventory resource planning software), Amazon inventory records, stock movements, and related operational files.
  • Update recurring operational and reporting files related to stock, reorders, planning, and controls.
  • Check consistency of data across systems, files, and logistics flows, coordinating resolution with internal teams or external partners when needed.
  • Monitor overall inventory levels and support purchase planning decisions, including reorder timing and replenishment needs.
  • Monitor Amazon FBA stock levels and support replenishment planning across marketplaces and warehouses.
  • Help ensure the right stock allocation across internal warehouse, 3PLs, and Amazon FBA.
  • Standardize recurring workflows, improve documentation, and identify repetitive manual tasks that can be simplified or automated.
  • Coordinate freelancers or technical specialists when needed to implement workflow improvements, then test and monitor new automations to ensure reliability.

Ideal Candidate

  • Mid-level profile with strong Excel / Google Sheets skills and experience in operations, inventory control, ERP-related workflows, logistics support, supply chain planning, or similar roles.
  • Highly detail-oriented and accurate, with strong capabilities in formulas, lookups, pivot tables, checks, reconciliations, and planning files.
  • Comfortable working on recurring operational processes with discipline and consistency, and able to translate stock data into replenishment and purchasing recommendations.
  • Able to investigate issues and solve inconsistencies in a structured way.
  • Proactive in identifying inefficiencies and improving workflows.
  • Does not need to be a programmer, but should be able to spot automation opportunities, define requirements clearly, test solutions, and coordinate external support when needed.
  • Experience with Amazon Seller Central, FBA replenishment workflows, 3PLs, ERP systems, QuickBooks, Katana, Shopify, Zapier, Make, Google Apps Script, AI tools, or low-code tools is a plus.
