• Working Days: Monday – Friday Working Hours: 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM (PST)

ABOUT THE ROLE

Scaleup Connect is hiring a Backend Developer to work remotely for our international clients. We're looking for talented software developers with strong fundamentals, excellent English communication skills, and the ability to thrive in professional international environments.

In this role, you'll work closely with experienced senior software engineers, gain exposure to global-level technical standards, and prepare for international remote opportunities focused on the US market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain backend systems and APIs
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable server-side code
• Collaborate with senior software engineers on technical projects
• Participate in technical discussions and problem-solving sessions
• Prepare for international remote opportunities and interview environments
• Continuously improve technical and professional communication skills

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any relevant field (mandatory)
• Fresh graduates with strong English communication skills and good software development fundamentals are eligible to apply

Technical Skills:

• Understanding or exposure to Java, Python, or Node.js
• Knowledge of JSON and REST APIs
• Solid understanding of Backend Development Concepts
• Knowledge of Databases & Server-Side Logic

English Communication (MANDATORY):

• Excellent English verbal communication skills
• Native-level fluency with a neutral or US accent
• Confidence in technical discussions and interviews
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills

Note: English communication is a mandatory.
