Senior Analyst, Data Engineering (Finance Support)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Data Engineering – Finance Support to join our Finance Data Platform team. This role focuses on financial analysis, reporting, and functional support, ensuring high-quality data delivery for business decision-making. You will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing financial data platforms while working closely with Finance and Technology stakeholders.

Contract length: Until end of 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Data & Platform Development

• Build and optimize financial data models
• Enhance reporting platforms to improve performance and usability

Reporting & Analytics

• Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Perform data validation, quality checks, and anomaly investigation
• Translate financial data into actionable insights

Business & Functional Support

• Provide ongoing support for reporting tools and financial metrics
• Work closely with Finance teams to understand requirements
• Support month‑end / period‑end reporting cycles to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Troubleshoot reporting issues and improve data accuracy

Continuous Improvement

• Identify automation opportunities and streamline workflows
• Contribute to platform enhancements and best practices
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and documentation processes

Requirements:

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, or related field

Experience

• 2+ years in financial analysis, BI, or data engineering
• Strong experience working with financial data
• Experience supporting enterprise reporting platforms and collaborating with senior stakeholders
• Experience performing data validation, reconciliation, and root‑cause analysis for reporting

Technical Skills

• Advanced Power BI (DAX, data modeling, performance tuning)
• SQL / T-SQL skills
• ETL concepts and data modeling

• Clear communication and analytical thinking
• Ability to quickly learn, adapt, and use modern digital and analytics tools.
• Experience leveraging AI‑enabled tools (e.g., Copilot, prompt engineering) to improve productivity and analysis.
