Location: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

Main areas of responsibility include:

  • Oversee operations of all warehouses (Main, Remote Container, Remote TT Branch) ensuring consistency in processes and compliance with company and legislative requirements.
  • Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures across all sites.
  • Monitor KPIs for warehouse performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Plan and manage warehouse budgets, cost control, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure timely procurement and replenishment of parts and consumables.
  • Manage and mentor supervisors, leads, and coordinators to ensure effective leadership at each warehouse location.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork across all sites.
  • Ensure accurate inventory movement and timely supply of OEM and Non-OEM parts.
  • Implement inventory optimization strategies to reduce holding costs.
  • Ensure all warehouses adhere to safety standards and OHSE requirements.
  • Conduct monthly safety inspections and lead toolbox meetings.
  • Maintain proper handling and storage of hazardous materials and consumables.
  • Ensure timely and accurate dispatch of parts to customers.
  • Maintain strong communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Resolve escalated issues related to warehousing and delivery.
  • Provide regular reports to management on warehouse performance and challenges

Requirements and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Masters degree is plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in mining industry. Warehouse management experience is preferred.
  • 2+ years of management experience required.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, eXtend or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for supplier and internal team coordination.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Komatsu parts and equipment is a plus.
  • Professional Working Proficiency English level needed.
