The Opportunity

Reporting to the Specialist Cost Management, the Analyst Project Services role ensures that internal IS&T teams and externally engaged customers have assistance in the Cost Management service, which includes:

  • Project set up in appropriate toolsets
  • Project/Programme cost collector creation (including WBS and Internal Order)
  • Purchasing & Invoicing for projects
  • Project/Programme cost controlling and reporting
  • Project monthly accruals
  • Project forecast management and trending
  • Project financial closure
  • Portfolio reporting and monthly reconciliations

This role is an active, supportive and dynamic role providing support across the IS&T organization. This encompasses delivering a high level of services, both analytical and transactional to meet our customer needs.

Employment type: 6 or 12-months contractor role

What the role entails:

  • Providing timely responses and a high level of support to all customers engaged;
  • Managing and aligning customer expectations against IS&T priorities to ensure all incidents and requests are managed in line with operational requirements;
  • Maintaining up to date knowledge of toolsets and technologies required to effectively perform the role;
  • Systematically evaluating past experience and apply learning to improve task productivity in line with standard work practice;
  • Providing the Cost Management service to the customers.
  • Undertaking ad hoc tasks and providing guidance around service offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate or higher education obtained through degrees or diplomas from an academic college or university in the field of Business administration, Finance, Accounting, or similar areas.
  • 2+ years of experience in areas such as project support, financial analysis, accounting, business management.
  • Working knowledge of SAP is desirable. Exceptional spoken and written English is required. French language skill would be an added advantage.

  • Self-motivation and show a willingness to take on challenges and to learn new skills;
  • Strong ethics and excellent team player skills as well as being a leader;
  • Ability to operate autonomously in a supported environment but know when to escalate issues.
