The Opportunity

We are looking for an Specialist Contract Operations in Vendor Management team. The role is responsible for contract compliance and commercial assurance of IS&T’s key strategic vendors contracts. The role is essential to the ongoing support to commercial managers in Vendor Management team and operational leads.

This role is a great opportunity to take the next step in your career whilst working on a global agreement. Reporting to the Superintendent Contract Operations, you will be.

  • Review of contract with suppliers in IT sector to ensure the correct application of commercial and contractual terms
  • Guidance and direction to internal stakeholders on contract interpretation, content and limitations
  • Oversight & validation of billing for various supplier contracts
  • Analysis on vendor spend data and reporting to internal stakeholders
  • Oversight and assurance of supplier service performance
  • Validation of supplier submitted documentations e.g. check conformed contract copies
  • Maintain contract register and records

 What you will need for this role

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Degree qualified or higher in Accounting, Audit, Finance or related field
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is preferable
  • Proficient in English

·         Excellent excel skills

It would also be beneficial if you have:

·         Strong problem solving and analytical skills

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate information clearly and concisely

·         Understanding and applying commercial /contract law principals

·         Financial analysis & reporting

·         Attention to detail, both in numbers (financials) and in contract (or similar) documents

·         Good stakeholders engagement in multiple regions with varying time-zones

·         Good negotiation skills, ability to hold ground

·         Experience working on other reporting tools is a plus e.g. Power BI
