Food & Beverage Manager / Chef

General Position Overview:

The Food & Beverage Chef/Manager is responsible all culinary operations within the hotel. As Head Chef he/she is responsible for kitchens, food preparation, menus, supply ordering, hygiene and ensuring high-quality service, also guest service standards, executive floor lounge and room service operations, and stewarding.

Main Responsibilities:

• Operational Management
• Oversee daily operations of kitchens, restaurants, lounges, bars, room service.
• Oversee and be a hands on chef in the preparation of all food and drinks.
• Ensure all F&B outlets and kitchens maintain high standards of service, hygiene, and food safety.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage purchasing of food, beverages, and supplies.

Guest Experience:

• Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining high-quality food, service, and ambiance.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and implement corrective actions.
• Develop menus, promotions, and seasonal offerings aligned with guest preferences and local market trends.

Financial & Business Management:

• Prepare and manage F&B budgets, cost controls, and revenue targets.
• Ensure efficient use of resources to reduce waste and maintain cost-effective operations.

Staff Management:

• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate F&B staff.
• Schedule employees to ensure adequate coverage across all outlets.
• Conduct regular briefings and training sessions to maintain service standards.

Compliance & Quality Control:

• Ensure compliance with Mongolian health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Maintain quality standards in food preparation, service, and facility cleanliness.
• Conduct regular inspections of kitchen, dining areas, and storage facilities.
