Senior Analyst, Data Engineering

About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Analyst, Data Engineering – Support Services with strong expertise in Power Platform and application development. This role focuses on building, enhancing, and supporting business applications and data solutions, ensuring platform stability and continuous improvement.

Contract length: until end of 2026

Key Responsibilities:

Application & Platform Development

• Develop and maintain applications using Power Apps and Power Automate
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Synapse Analytics
• Build and support Azure-based data solutions (Functions, pipelines, databases)
• Contribute to DevOps automation, CI/CD, and testing

Support & Operations

• Provide technical support for business applications and MIS platform
• Troubleshoot issues and respond to user queries
• Monitor system performance and ensure reliability

Power Platform Solutions

• Enhance existing Power Platform tools and workflows
• Build scalable and maintainable low-code solutions
• Deliver Proof-of-Concept (PoC) solutions when required

Collaboration & Improvement

• Work with cross-functional teams (Finance, IS&T, stakeholders)
• Identify system improvements and bugs for prioritization
• Participate in Agile development processes

Requirements:

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field

Experience

• 2+ years in application development or data engineering
• Hands-on experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
• Experience supporting deployed applications

Technical Skills

• Power Apps & Power Automate (strong requirement)
• Strong SQL / database development
• Azure (Synapse, Functions preferred)
• ETL concepts and data pipelines
• Scripting (PowerShell, Bash, YAML)
• Git and modern DevOps practices

Key Strengths

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Experience in application lifecycle management
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
• Ability to quickly learn, adapt, and use modern digital and analytics tools.
• Experience leveraging AI‑enabled tools (e.g., Copilot, prompt engineering) to improve productivity and analysis.
