General Position Overview:
The Hotel Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, efficient staff performance, and profitable business outcomes. This role requires strong leadership, hands on operational management, and customer service skills to maintain high standards across all areas and operations of the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership
- Manage day-to-day hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, F&B, reservations, and guest services, including executive floor lounge, health club, lobby lounge.
- Ensure smooth coordination between entire hotel team to deliver excellent service.
- Monitor hotel performance and implement improvements when needed.
Guest Experience Management
- Maintain high standards of customer service and respond effectively to guest inquiries and complaints.
- Oversee the development of guest service programs and ensure brand consistency.
- Ensure clean, safe, and welcoming facilities.
Financial & Business Management
- Contribute time and effort as part of mentorship program to understand hotel operational costs, enhance revenue achievement, and achieve profitability at the GOP level.
- Assist the Finance Manager with efficient and accurate revenue capture operations, expense management control, cost aware staffing and revenue generating programs.
Staff Management & Development
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate hotel staff.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels and scheduling.
- Foster a positive work environment and implement performance improvement plans when needed.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, labor, and industry regulations.
- Maintain quality standards for facilities, services, and staff performance.
- Conduct regular inspections and follow up on maintenance needs.
- Oversee food hygiene standards, conduct hygiene inspections, oversee fire life safety standards, oversee security standards.
