Job Title: COO

Location: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement medium- and long-term operational plans for the mining site.
• Lead and manage overall mining operations including drilling, blasting, extraction, and transportation processes.
• Increase production capacity and improve operational efficiency through continuous optimization.
• Ensure effective control of operational costs and profitability improvement.
• Participate in investment and project implementation planning.
• Oversee and provide professional leadership to department heads and ensure coordinated operations.
• Implement and monitor maintenance and equipment reliability plans.
• Ensure compliance with national and international HSE standards, laws, and regulations.
• Direct and evaluate the performance of the mine management team.
• Develop and implement employee training, development, and incentive programs.
• Lead mine rehabilitation and environmental protection initiatives.
  Implement corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs and maintain effective relations with local communities.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Mining Management, Mining Engineering, Business Administration, Law, or Finance.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience in the mining industry.
• Strong knowledge of production, technical, and HSE standards and procedures.
• Familiar with Mongolian laws, regulations, and international standards relevant to mining operations.
• Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in business planning, performance monitoring, and operational analysis.
• Knowledge of financial, legal, and human resources processes is an advantage.
• Fluency in English or Chinese (intermediate or above).
