Rio Tintos Mongolia Business Services & Support Centre delivers valuable services to Rio Tinto business units and functions outside of Mongolia.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Adoption Lead, Modern Workplace Adoption team, the specialist will support people in Rio Tinto to improve their productivity to solve business problems by adopting Microsoft solutions. The specialist will lead a small team in Mongolia and is accountable for the following but not limited to:
- Putting Rio Tinto people at the centre of your work every day
- Running Adoption activities for all in Rio Tinto (including Digital Influencers-DIs)
- Finding and creating spaces in different areas of the business to share our message
- Review comms, training, and other adoption materials (videos included) prepared by service and platform coordinators
- Prepare adoption material (videos included) when required
- Capturing learning requirements for our people (based on adoption reporting or empirical evidence)
- Connecting with our people using Viva Engage and Digital Influencer spaces
- Recruiting new DIs, specially where we dont have any
- Using adoption reporting:
- To target adoption activities for specific locations
- To increase Microsoft adoption reporting scores and KBI results
- Assess the need to create or deprecate reports
- Managing the relationship with leaders in Rio Tinto to keep our presence active in all adoption fronts
- Coaching our DIs, helping them in their journey from adoption agents to SMEs in a particular MW topic
- Engage regularly with Microsoft to plan and run all joint adoption activities
- Supporting special projects whenever required by the team leader
- Special project: Create content to support Microsoft 365 tablet adoption for RTIO sites
Employment type: 6 months contractor role
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate or higher education obtained through degrees or diplomas from an academic college or university in the field of communications, graphic design, psychology, engineering, project management, or similar areas
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Mongolian languages
- Over five years of work experience of which a minimum of two years of experience in change management or technology adoption areas
- Desirable: Microsoft adoption services certification
- Desirable: Change practitioner (Prosci)
- French language skills would be an advantage.
