Role Purpose:

The primary purpose of a mechanical engineer is to design, develop, and maintain mechanical systems and devices. This involves applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials science to create efficient and reliable solutions that meet specific needs.

Contract Length: Until the end of 2025

Job responsibilities:

• Role-model the HSE values and practices. Assist others to do the same Participate in the planning of projects to optimize HSE results
• Participate in the promotion of safety as work culture through personal awareness and accountability in workplace and at home
• Support the implementation of Health, Safety, Environment & Quality standards for the areas under operates responsibility
• Creating and improving mechanical systems, components, and devices
• Thorough understanding of local and international codes and standards (e.g., ASME, ASTM, NFPA) and the ability to ensure designs comply with these regulations
• Provide technical support in the review of O&M programs to achieve high level of reliability and continuity of electrical/mechanical service
• Familiarization with a carrying-out diagnostic tests and condition based monitoring based on maintenance tactic
• Establish project: Specific requirements and ensure compliance with specifications
• Prepare Engineering Scopes of Work: Define clear and detailed scopes of engineering service providers (ESP) to follow
• Conduct Technical Evaluations: Assess the technical feasibility and cost-effectiveness of proposed designs
• Facilitate communication and coordination between the core team and external entities in engineering service matters
• Facilitate the value engineering process to deliver capital effectiveness and fill for purpose design
• Promptly address and solve any issues arising during project execution related to technical aspects
• Quality Assurance: Review QA documents before/during implementation - ITP's. Attend FAT/SAT as required, ensuring adherence to quality standards
• Actively participate the CAPEX and OPEX, risk elimination projects to develop a design and calculation

Job requirements:

• Engineer above a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineer or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in mechanical design and development and equivalent
• Experience in simulation system, including thermodinamics and mechanical systems calculation, design work, and proven experience in the mining or industrial sector for check the design
• Works on Autocad, Microsoft office, Microsoft project, Solidworks and other widely used applications
• Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication and documentation
