Job title: CSA ( Civil, Structural, Architectural ) Construction Coordinator

Role purpose:
The construction coordinator role will report to Specialist Construction and oversees all executionstage activities of a single critical construction project, ensuring work is performed and commissioned safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while seamlessly integrating engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning functions.
Contract length: 20 months
Responsibilities:
The Construction Coordinators duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Attend the Project Kick-off Meeting organized by the Project Lead and gather all necessary project-related information
- Verify the following documents and readiness prior to construction
- Manage construction documentation by setting up a designated folder under the construction directory using the Project Number
- Ensure all construction-related documents are uploaded as per document control standards throughout the construction phase
- Maintain up-to-date construction logs, monitor deviations, and report on project status and risks
- Provide regular progress updates and issue reports to the project management team
- Participate in all design squad checks and review drawings at each design stage. Provide technical comments and practical construction inputs, and ensure the comments are captured
- Review IFC drawings and MTOs and escalate if non-conformances
- Coordinate with Study engineering team and external design company as required to support construction activities
- Ensure that Request for Information (RFIs) are submitted, tracked, and handled in a timely manner, ensuring proper documentation of resolutions and actions taken
- Collaborate with project and external design company engineers to clarify any design-related questions or issues that may arise during construction and communicate findings to relevant parties
- Oversee contractor construction crews to monitor progress and enforce HSEC and QA/QC standards
- Coordinate with internal departments for critical support (if required)
- Monitor Contractors permit-to-work procedures, reviewing BAC testing, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and permit documents
- Review and assess the potential need for MOC (Management of Change) or Process Safety intervention
- In the event of delays, confirm the root cause and lead the development of a Recovery Plan in coordination with all stakeholders
Job requirements:
- Undergraduate or equivalent or higher education obtained through degrees or diplomas from academic college or universities
- At least 3 years relevant experience, or otherwise the significant practical experience and on the job training
