Role purpose:
The Analyst - Reporting Analytics Developer is responsible for supporting the delivery of end to end reporting and analytics solutions and services, technical design, development and deployment of deliverables within time, cost, quality constraints and technical documentation. Supports the identification, specification, and best use of metrics, reporting and analytics within one or more business process areas. Works with Analytics, Reporting and Data Consultants and Reporting Architects in defining reports and analytics solutions and assist on-site personnel in the use of the solutions.
Contract length: 1 year
What the role entails:
-Understand and apply documented guidelines, principles and methods for analytics platform design and development, including SAP Business Warehouse and Integrated Data Platform
- Assist with the delivery of the portfolio of the Analytics team across all customers within the agreed budget, time and quality constraints for all reporting solutions including scorecards, dashboards, analytical reports and custom applications
- Supporting the Analytics team solutions working with key internal and external stakeholders
- Engage with customers to develop both Proof of Concept and industrial solutions using a number of development and visualization tools, such as Design Studio, Tableau, PowerBI, etc
- Facilitate the process of defining Metrics, KPIs, and reporting requirements
- Engage and support the other Build Delivery teams to leverage or provide skills, capacity and experience
Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or any related field of study
- Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling)
- In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
- Familiarity with BI technologies
- Knowledge of SQL queries
- Able to work in a highly outsourced environment, with multiple stakeholders, in multiple regions with varying time-zones
- Fluency/Advanced level in English
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Relational databases and the Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) concepts and design patterns
- Basic familiarity with DAX
- Basic familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform would be desirable
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate information clearly and concisely
- Knowledge of project management processes and frameworks
