The HR Manager plays a critical role in overseeing and leading the organization's human resources functions. This position is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the company's business objectives. The HR Manager ensures compliance with labor laws and regulations while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Main areas of responsibility include:

  • Manage the company's compensation, benefits, and performance management systems.
  • Develop and implement policies on issues such as working conditions, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures, and absence management.
  • Manages daily activities of the HR department, including HR Officers/Coordinator and Compensation and Benefit Analyst.
  • Talent acquisition and workforce planning.
  • Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.
  • Making decisions, solving problems, and analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
  • Coach and advise Supervisors, Managers, and employees on Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Monitor current Human Resources activities to identify problem areas, initiate responses, and proactively resolve issues that limit business success.
  • Promote and guide a positive employee/labor relations climate and support teamwork across the Company.
  • Provide consultation and advice to others, providing guidance and expert advice to management or other groups on technical, systems, or process-related topics.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resources management.

Requirements and skills

  • Degree in Human Resources or any related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional management experience in HR functions
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
  • Performance management and HR ERP system experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, presentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to speak and write fluently in English and Mongolian
  • Good computer skills, especially in the Microsoft package
  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
