Job title: Senior Service Manager
Company: International Mining Equipment Supplier
Area: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
Main areas of responsibility include:
- Provide leadership and direction to Service Managers and SLT members to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee daily service operations, aligning with sales forecasts and machine delivery schedules.
- Manage the annual Service budget and monitor financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, labor laws, and safety regulations.
- Develop and mentor the service team to build technical and leadership capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Planning, Technical Support, and Parts areas to ensure smooth product support service delivery.
- Report regularly to senior management, stakeholders on service performance and operational issues.
Requirements and skills
- Certified in Heavy Equipment Mechanical Repair with a minimum of 10 years of Senior Management experience.
- Must possess strong business acumen
- Must possess excellent customer relations skills and proven customer-facing experience
- Strong knowledge of SOPs, laws, compliance, and ability to lead and manage safety programs.
- Strong knowledge of service operations with sales, especially Komatsu mining and construction products
- Skilled in examining and re-engineering operations to improve efficiency and results.
- Skilled in identifying, implementing, and leading continuous improvement projects
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
- Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office
- Mongolian and English language fluency is essential for this position
