Job title: Senior Service Manager

Area: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

Main areas of responsibility include:

  • Provide leadership and direction to Service Managers and SLT members to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee daily service operations, aligning with sales forecasts and machine delivery schedules.
  • Manage the annual Service budget and monitor financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, labor laws, and safety regulations.
  • Develop and mentor the service team to build technical and leadership capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Planning, Technical Support, and Parts areas to ensure smooth product support service delivery.
  • Report regularly to senior management, stakeholders on service performance and operational issues.

Requirements and skills

  • Certified in Heavy Equipment Mechanical Repair with a minimum of 10 years of Senior Management experience.
  • Must possess strong business acumen
  • Must possess excellent customer relations skills and proven customer-facing experience
  • Strong knowledge of SOPs, laws, compliance, and ability to lead and manage safety programs.
  • Strong knowledge of service operations with sales, especially Komatsu mining and construction products
  • Skilled in examining and re-engineering operations to improve efficiency and results.
  • Skilled in identifying, implementing, and leading continuous improvement projects
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office
  • Mongolian and English language fluency is essential for this position
