Job title: Chief Engineer/Site Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily wind farm operations, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and safety.
- Manage maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and technical improvements with OEMs and contractors.
- Analyze performance data to identify issues, trends, and implement solutions to maximize output.
- Coordinate energy production schedules, reporting, and billing with the National Dispatch Center and off-takers.
- Ensure compliance with HSE, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Act as liaison with government agencies, regulators, and local authorities.
- Lead and mentor site teams, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Manage contractors, budgets, procurement, and inventory for efficient operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; professional license in power system operations.
- Minimum 10 years in the energy sector, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Experience managing power generation operations, particularly wind farms, and associated electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of Unified Power System Rules, Safety, and Technical Operation Rules, with experience ensuring compliance.
- Strong understanding of OHS, environmental, and regulatory requirements, including Mongolian and international standards.
- Proficiency in English, contract management, and coordination with contractors and suppliers.
- Experience with power plant operations (substations, transmission lines, relay protection) and basic financial/budget management is an advantage.

- Willingness to reside on-site and support daily operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
