HR Manager (Vietnamese Speaker) - A.J. Plast, HCMC

Roles & Responsibilities:

Human Resource Management & Development

• HR Operations & Compliance: Oversee and ensure accurate and compliant HR operations, including labor contracts, payroll coordination, time & attendance, and personnel records, while strengthening controls and processes to support increasing headcount and expanded plant operations in compliance with Vietnam labor laws.
• Employee Relations & Manager Support: Manage employee relations, disciplinary matters, and grievances, while coaching line managers on fair, compliant, and effective people management practices.
• HR Governance, Reporting & Improvement: Develop and maintain HR policies, standard operating procedures, and dashboards, providing reports and leading HR improvement initiatives aligned with business priorities.
• (Preferred) Core HR Process Development: Support the establishment and standardization of key HR processes and systems (e.g., recruitment, onboarding, performance management, workforce planning, compensation, training, and employee relations)
• General Administration
• Oversee plant, facility, and office administration, including vendor and service provider management, administrative budget control, regulatory licenses and permits, coordination with local authorities, and the establishment of administrative policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Law, Psychology, or related field
• 7 – 10 years progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in an HR Business Partner / HR Manager role
• Strong exposure to a manufacturing or plant environment, with experience supporting plant start‑up or expansion (chemical, plastics, packaging, film, or industrial production preferred)
• Proven experience building or improving HR fundamentals, policies, standard operating procedures, and providing facility management and general administration for plant, facility, and office within manufacturing or industrial settings
• Competent in HR processes and systems, project management, stakeholder engagement, and vendor management
• Hands‑on, execution‑driven, with strong ownership, interpersonal, coordination, analytical, and issue resolution skills
