Inspection Engineer, Chemicals Business (Rayong Based)

Job Summary

• Manage projects as a Project Manager related to the inspection of static equipment, rotating equipment, and pipelines, as per requirements.
• Responsibilities include in compliance with applicable standards and legal designing and defining maintenance strategies, ensuring maintenance quality control through engineering expertise, establishing post-maintenance inspection procedures, and maintaining quality standards in all operations, in order to provide services to both internal and external SCGC clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a Project Engineer or Project Manager to oversee and manage projects, covering all aspects of scope, time, and cost.
• Prepare quotations and present them to relevant stakeholders, including clients; manage cost structures and execute project activities to ensure safe and successful completion.
• Assess project risks and implement appropriate risk management strategies.
• Monitor project performance, implement corrective and improvement actions, enhance work processes, and establish standardized practices for the department.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering disciplines (Welding/Production/Materials and etc), with prior experience in Inspection of Static Equipment and/or Nondestructive Testing (NDT).
• Relevant experience in the inspection of Static Equipment, particularly during Shutdowns or Turnarounds.
• Knowledge and understanding of NDT methods (UT, MT, PT, RT, VT, ET) will be considered an advantage.
• Certifications such as INDT from ASNT, API 653, API 570, API 510, and RBI (API 580) will be considered an advantage.
• Work Location: Rayong Province.
