Mechanical Design Engineer (EPS), Bang Sue Based (Special Contract)

Job Summary

• VSPP Power Plant & Renewable field
• Fuel MSW & Industrial Waste Power Plant is a special consideration
• EPC Business Turnkey (Engineering, Procurement and Construction)
• Satisfy Owner Requirements based on Design, Regulations, Laws, Standards, Codes and advise customer solutions
• Provide design for safe operation & maintenance with recommended solutions to owner
• Familiar with the process of related permits: EIA, EHIA, COP, Construction Permit, Factory License requirements, PEA, and ERC

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Tendering, Bidding, and Proposal in terms of Technical Data & support for Mechanical Process, Boiler, Ash Handling System, Steam Turbine, Air-Cooled/Water-Cooled Condenser, Air Compressor, Fuel Feeding System, Flue Gas Treatment System, Water Treatment Plant according to TOR
• Clarify requirements and follow up on, or clear, pending issues and lists via Piping Specifications & Routes, Equipment General Arrangement (GA), P&ID as mechanical integration with other systems such as Tie-in or Terminal Points
• Verify and cross-check Heat and Mass Balance, Firing Diagram of Combustion, Water Balance, Utility Consumption in Mechanical field
• Raise any mechanical concern or critical issue to team, if any, for consultation and resolution with team decision-makers, such as deviations from TOR, high impacts to cost, improper design, unsafe operation, or mismatches with other systems
• Maintain close contact with Owners, Suppliers, Contractors, Vendors, and internal departments for implementation and rectification of related issues

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 3–5 years of experience in Power Plant Design is preferred.
• Proficient in CAD software and Drawing Viewer applications
• Understand the basic overall process of a Power Plant
• Basic knowledge of rotating machinery such as Boiler Feed Water Pumps, Fans, Valve Types, Piping, Pressure Parts, ASME, ASTM, ANSI, JIS, DIN, GB, and EN
• Commissioning and testing of machinery and piping such as Pressure Test, Cleaning, Leak Test in Water, Air, Chemical, etc.
• Basic knowledge of Operation & Maintenance in Power Plants, Consumption & Consumables for running Power Plants, Discharge Ash Treatment, Flue Gas Emission Control, Water Regulations
• Communication skills with the ability to quickly summarize key points
• Coordination with Suppliers, Owners, Contractors, Team Members, and internal departments
